Project Manager

Project managers play a key leadership role in the smooth running of our project teams. From communicating with clients to understand their needs to working closely with team members from various departments, the PM acts as a central contact point for everyone involved in the project. Savant Degrees is looking for bright and talented PMs to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Requirement gathering: clarify project objectives and requirements from kickoff meeting with clients.
  • Conceptualization of project scope: work closely with design team to develop initial wireframes.
  • Project decision-making: take various factors into consideration to make the most appropriate decision for the project; if necessary, make executive decisions based on your expertise and research.
  • Resource allocation: develop timelines and schedules for the project; manage project budget.
  • Delegation of duties: communicating and assigning tasks to various team members in the design and development teams; identify stages when projects should be handed off to the following step in the workflow
  • Quality assurance: perform detailed quality assurance tests with team before presenting to clients
  • Running User Acceptance Testing: experience in conducting UAT; knowledge of UAT processes
  • Systems analysis: able to translate requirements to features; able to develop workflow
  • Documentation: provide the client and the team with instructions and documents 

  

Requirements

  • 1-2 years prior relevant work experience, with background in Development, IT or Systems Analysis preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and user acceptance testing processes.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills – PMs act as the liaison between the team and our clients.
  • Displays leadership attributes, able to motivate team members and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Pays attention to details.
  • Picks up new methodologies and processes quickly.
  • Able to introduce new project management tools.

PMs who display strong aptitude and promise in the role will be considered for promotion to the roles of Consultant and Partner.
